BOO your neighbors!

Last night we put together some fun gift baskets to “BOO” our neighbors.

First you have to make a BOO sign. (extra points if you use glitter)

Then you choose a BOO poem. (I chose #3)

Click here to print what I put together so you’ll be ready to BOO! (I also included an addendum because I feel the need to over-explain everything, and a few extra printed  copies of the BOO poem so the person was more likely to BOO another neighbor.)

New folderA night sneaking around the neighborhood wouldn’t be complete without some army camouflage paint under our eyes. (Be sure to practice your tough faces.) If you don’t have the paint stuff (what is it really called??) just use a washable marker.

We did… New folder-2We even got Cy in on the action… IMG_2427Then tiptoe around the neighborhood and leave the goodies for friends or strangers. We made it super fun by hiding behind every tree on our walk to the houses. When a car came by we would run for cover behind the nearest bush. Maybe we are training them to be burglars?!?

Whether we are prepping them for a life of crime or perfecting our BOO techniques we had SO MUCH FUN! We were also lucky it was raining and we got soaked by jumping in loads of puddles. IMG_2434Isn’t being the MOM the best?

We get to make the fun our children will remember for a lifetime!!  IMG_2449After we got home we made smores in the fireplace.

Because (in case you couldn’t tell) we’re cool like that.

Your turn!!

Yay! You did it! I’m glad you had fun. I told Lawrence that I wanted to make surprise buckets for all the holidays.

My boys and I are going BOOing this weekend and I’m so excited! I’ll have to make sure we get out the eye-black from baseball season and take cute pics like you!

You have to do the black-eye (so that’s what that stuff is called)! It was SO MUCH fun. We were just giddy because it was so silly. My husband and I are even planning on how to make it fun when the kiddos are teenagers. We are think toilet-papering and ding-dong ditching are in our future.
