InstaFriday–Sick Week

Has it been a week???

Cy was sick then I was sick. And if your house is like mine, you know the world stops when mommy is ill.

IF 2 Farrells ice cream IF 2 Farrells is too loud

Before all the illnesses hit we had a family Date Night at Farrell’s Ice Cream Parlor. We should have known something was coming when Cy refused to eat ice cream! Our sundae was a hit but Cora Jane thought the birthday songs were too loud…

IF 2 flip flops

Summer shoes… check!

Just happened to go to Old Navy on their $1 flip flop sale. I’ve never gotten them before but I couldn’t be happier with the fit. Got 3 for me and 2 pairs for each of the kiddos. I’m thinking the $1 sale will be a new summer tradition!

IF 2 sick CyWhen Cy’s fever hit, it hit hard. His highest was 104.1! Our happy baby was a grump. We were up most of the night with the lil’ buggar. All my kiddos have REALLY high fevers while teething. Is that normal??

IF 2 haircut

Eli likes his hair long (like Samson) and I keep trying to get that long flippy surfer boy look… but it mostly ends up looking like trailer trash. We were so surprised when he announced he wanted to cut his hair!

IF 2 bedtime

Listening to scripture time before bed is rad!

IF 2 mcd cafe IF 2 storytime

McCafe + cupcake + park = our once a week routine

Storytime at the libray = another weekly routine

I like routines.

IF 2 lego

Kitchen counter.

IF 2 INO onsie

If you haven’t seen the new In-N-Out Burger onsies, you need to! Cute overload.

IF 2 green tea

Runny nose, watery eyes, tired and cranky. I think the tired and cranky might be from the fetus. Either way, the green tea has been a flowin’ and the messy house is a growin’.

IF 2 Dr appointment

I’ve mentioned my fetus is lazy and non moving (boy?). At my monthly appointment I become a nervous wreck thinking they won’t find a heartbeat. My mind goes down a slippery slope of thoughts about infant loss. And it makes me cry. Irrational, I know. But I think I’ll start scheduling my appointments for earlier in the day to keep my crazy thoughts at bay.

Happy InstaFriday and join in over at Life Rearranged!

I think it’s a boy because he’s lazy and stubborn. But I have now clue! Dying to know though!!

It’s so strange. But I was much more paranoid when it happened to baby #1. Now I know a tooth will pop the next day… usually more than one if they get a fever. Makes for a rough night!

The one at the RSM library?? We go on Tuesdays (the 11am one) then to that park for a picnic lunch! If you ever see me (I’m 5’10” fat/preggers, frazzled looking towing 3 kiddos) say hi!

I can’t even tell you how adorable it is in person! It’s just like the cup… with the bible verse on the snaps (like the bottom of the cups).

Kara, Our friend, Sara Hunnel, always tell me when I let my mind run away with what I fear. She tells me ” God does not give us grace for our imagination.” At times this helps me get hold of my emotions and thoughts. And she is right!!!!

OMGosh! I didn’t even think about how it could have been taken! Just my monthly exam paranoia.
My sickness is getting better. I’m wondering if it was allergies because my eyes were so watery. I took some zertec and I feel A LOT better today…. but it could just be the 4th day of the cold running it’s course
