 Our featured blogger this month is none other than the founder of Blissfully Domestic,  Allison Worthington! 

She started a personal blog, Mrs. Fussypants, in 2007 and things have really snowballed for this lovely Mom Blogger! She is the co-founder of the oh-so-popular BlissDom Conference, and the author of the digital book, The Smart Girls’ Guide to Twitter. If that doesn’t keep her busy enough she has 5 sons and a step daughter to boot!! A recent post I love of hers is about choosing to keep a personal blog public.

    Thanks for the giveaway…on Monday's my wife always seems to find the time in her hectic schedule to make homemade cookies, brownies, muffins, etc. for the kids…when they were pre-school w e called it "Muffin Monday".

    Monday is the only weekday I don't make my husband and kids a hot breakfast (because I hate the end of the weekend as much as everyone else). We have cereal on Monday mornings.

    Momday is fun at my house (Stepmomday) because both of the teenagers have jobs now and work on Mondays, causing me less aggravation! Someone please tell me (no kids of my own) how to get through the teenage years!!!

    I start it off by going to work, but I work at a coffee shop so I am fueled by caffiene, which makes it easier.

    Weekends are often so busy that we use Monday morning to sleep in a little, then just hang out and do laundry. Not exactly scintillating fun, but nice!

    On MOMday I drop off both kids at school and crawl back into bed for an hour or two (until I have to go back to pick up the preschooler). It gives baby-to-be and me a break!

    Sometimes I pretend that Monday is Saturday and have Weekend breakfast. Which can be doughnuts or pastries from the local bakery. We usually save these things for only on the weekend but sometimes cheating on Monday and pretending makes it a lot more fun.

    We make it bake some fun day! We make something the kids decide to make for the week. It can be cookies, bread, cake or whatever they fancy. But that means we also have to have something really healthy for dinner to go with it and we all decide on that one!

    Momday morning…I usually go grocery shopping first thing in the morning and stop at Dunkin Donuts on the way for a large indulgently flavored mocha coffee ha ha to get the day going right.

    I like to make a big breakfast on Monday mornings. It gives a good, positive start to the week and it's fun to make different breakfast platters and experiment with pancake toppings.

    Momday! I love it! As school has been winding down, Mondays have been a day to get tactical, so the kids and I go to the grocery store around 6:30 Monday mornings to talk about our week and snack on some fresh bagels–the baker lets us pull them off the rack and everything and at .40 a piece, it's no big deal budget wise. It makes the mornings fun and I don't have to do any dishes!lkziegler[at]gmailpdot

    Our favorite way to spend Momday monday is to wake up and spend some cuddle time first (cuddles and giggles are always a perfet way to start the day). Then after breakfast we spend time at the park. Followed by story time and more cuddles and an afternoon nap.

    Monday start off with packing older kids lunches with a surprise like a cookie in shape of heart or sandwich cut in shape of heart. Than its time for the rest after cleaning we go to the grocery store with Grocery Bingo and shop away when i find the item they put a smily face on the card and when the shopping done they trade me the card for a treat like DQ or Frosty.waitressdani (at) hotmail (com)

    Since Monday is the only day of the week I'm off from work, I usually take the kids out to dinner and the movies and allow my wife to have some much needed 'me' time!Because of this arrangement, she's recently made 'Monday' her official 'Girls Night Out' night and she and a few of her girlfriends get together and go out and enjoy themselves together.Thanks for the great giveaway offering!Good Luck to all!leandrew_taylor@yahoo.com

    I make it fun by getting my kids excited for school for the week – I let them pick their outfits for each day, and help plan their lunhes for the week. Believe it or not, they get excited about being able to make their own decisions!

    Ok, I need to be honest here! Mondays are MY MOMday! My husband works Monday-Friday and since I am a SAHM I have to put up with him all weekend long. Don't get me wrong, I love my hubby dearly, but Mondays he goes back to work and the 2 year old and I party! I usually take him out for icecream, make him fun lunches and act all silly!     We do a family dinner where everyone is responsible for a part of dinner – my husband usually grills something, my oldest daughter is in charge of the veggie, my youngest is in charge of drinks, & I take care of everything else! The kids love it because it makes them feel grown-up & it helps me out!

    Being origionally from Michigan it was not easy to plan an outdoor activity (picnic, BBQ,etc.) around the weather. Having re-located to Georgia, it is easier to spend the day with my sister, her daughter and grand-daughter in the out of doors

    Our local Dog park is amazing for kids to play on the playground and seperate fields for the dogs! Each "Momday" to help give my mom a break Me and my dad take the dog + little sister there while my mom can get some serious relaxation done ALONE! (panicxduh@yahoo.com)

    I love to lay in bed and cuddle with the wee ones. We usually have at least 2 or 3 little ones in bed with us! It's the best way to wake up in the morning!
