Crash = New Car & Back Aches

Saturday night we were driving along (to church no less!) and we were hit by some clown!

I feel the best way to articulate this epic story is through washable markers and my little paper cut outs…

Crazy… I know! We are all OK and luckily the clown has insurance.
Sunday we went car shopping and Wednesday we bought one. You don’t mess around when you only have one car and it is totaled!
We got a minivan… it’s the bomb diggity!!
Eli tells the story like this…
Mmmmm… I think that…

Perfect!

Why am I jumping for joy?

Because we have been saving our pennies, so our car fund combined with the insurance money from the total = no car payment!! Yeah!

I can’t believe I have such a nice ride… I feel like a queen. I mean I have butt warmers for goodness sake!

But Hot Hubby and I are both hurting… backs and knees (of all places). The kiddos haven’t complained but it is hard to tell because they are so young. We are getting checked out on Monday.
Send us all your prayers! (Well not all of them… the government could use some and how about the new CPSIA law?… don’t even get me started!)
.
.
.
Reminder – The first ever Eli’s Lids Linky is on January 27th!
Remember When You Got Married
I wasn’t at your wedding and I’m dying to see the best photos! So scan them in and get that post ready to be put up on the 27th.
Spread the word because you know you want to show off how hot you looked in that dress!!!

Well, I’m glad to hear you all walked away. Your illustrations were AWESOME and I love how you are jumping for joy, how great to have no car payment and a new car!

We have butt warmers in ours and my husband likes to mess with me and turn mine on when I’m not paying attention. Like when it is 200 degrees outside.

Ha… great post. I’d be jumping up and down too if I had a new car with no car payment. Too bad about the knees and back though. 🙂

It’s exciting getting a new car just not that way. And no payments is a bonus.

Thanks for stopping by. Muffin tops are not fun but the tank (yummie tummie) does help hide it.

Thanks for reading my blog and leaving a comment! I love how you dress up all your pics with sayings:) So sorry to hear about your crash, but thankful that no one was seriously hurt (aside from the back and knee aches!) and that you got a fabulous new van. YIPPEEEE! I love how you told the story of how it happened… LOL!

I’m so glad you guys were not seriously hurt in the accident. It is funny how you explained it all with the art. I love it!

And awesome about the new wheels and no payments. We just got our car back out the shop (was totaled) it was drivable and a good vehicle so we fixed it. Now we are still waiting after almost 5 months for the woman who hit us insurance to pay up.

    So celebrate woman.

And thanks for stopping by my blog. I appreciate it.

    Have a fab week!

Oh, I am so sorry to hear about your accident, and am grateful that you were able to not only laugh about it but make the rest of us laugh too with this cute post and the adorable drawings :-))

We’ll be praying for you to get better really soon. As someone who may be getting some shoulder surgery soon, can I recommend a hot rice sock? Just fill a tube sock with rice, and stick it in the microwave, and nuke it for 2-5 minutes (depending on your micro) and place it on the part that is achey. More comfy than a heating pad!

    Feel better,
    Kimberly
