Preggo cravings…

This is what I had for lunch…

It was one of those ‘If You Give A Mouse a Cookie’ moments… but with a pregnant craving twist.
See…
After you make scrambled eggs (you can barely see them under the apples) you’ll put away the eggs in the fridge and notice the mild cheddar cheese.
Yum.
You’ll cut a few cheese slices.
Then you’ll think, “Gee, apples sure go well with cheese!”
You’ll slice up an apple.
Yum.
Just before you sit down, you’ll rememeber the red grapes you just bought at the store.
Yum.
After you rinse the grapes you’ll feel like you need a bit of an energy boost.
You’ll remember the Large Regular Iced Coffee you got at McDonalds yesterday but didn’t finish.
You’ll pull the 32 ouncer out of the fridge and notice the cookie dough.
Gotta finish lunch with something sweet.
Cookie dough.
Yum.
The perfect preggo lunch.

You may be wondering what the perfect preggo dinner is.
I’ll tell you…

(got these from my parents at Christmas. Been craving Corn Chex for dinner.)

What did you crave when you were preggers?

The beauty of being preggo…the excuse to eat whatever you want whenever you want! Congrats to you. I am so happy for you. I have the baby itch badly so maybe just maybe some of it your "luck' or whatever will rub off onto me…I need it! A prayer wouldn't hurt either!

Icecream and burgers!! And for a while candy, which is funny because I've never been much of a sweet tooth.

lol… #1 = chicken soft tacos from Del Taco, #2 = salty foods (namely french fries), #3 = anything pumpkin (the effect of being preggers during the holidays)

Currently pregnant with #2 and yesterday for lunch and a snack I enjoyed a pear with pita chips and onion dip, followed by a dessert of chocolate mints from Trader Joes.

I gotta say, though, the cookie dough looks so good! Might need to whip some of that up. Thanks for the idea!

definately sweets! but, I think it was because I never really let myself have them often pre-preggers. I think I've used more sugar and flour in the past 2 months than I have in the past 2 years…love cookie dough (even if it does have raw eggs, in it…by the end, I got over that)!

I craved hot wings and cold french fries. One time i ate an entire container of sour cream with a super size bag of doritos while watching a baby story marathon.

I'm 18 weeks pregnant right now. The other week I wanted a box of chocolates. Not the expensive kind, but the cheap $4.99 box from the grocery store. AND, a can of green beans. Together. Then some black olives. It was yummo!

I craved JALAPENOS with kid 1 and with kid 2? Strawberry milk.

    Your's seems perfectly normal!

You crack me up… I couldn't stand sweet stuff w/ Jenny, but I ate my weight (and then some) in soft pretzels! We bought a HUGE box of them and I ate them ALL the time!
