After my hubby got an iPhone and we discovered all the rad kiddo apps we went a little app crazy… spending $.99 on each book/game didn’t seem like much but it sure adds up quickly. Digital books have come a long way – some can read to you and some are interactive like a computer game. Great for entertaining kiddos at the DMV or waiting in a Drs office but they have never ever EVER been a replacement for actually reading to your kiddos. Ever. But it would be silly to think kiddo books wouldn’t evolve with the technology as well.

The FarFaria app came in handy for us just before we moved because all our books were packed up and the kiddos got sick. High-fever-I-just-want-to-snuggle-mommy sick. It was so convenient to have countless books in one place. In between get-your-fever-down-baths we read books and napped… surrounded by boxes.

I love that it’s interactive… as in you interact with your kiddo. They aren’t glued to another electronic screen being read to by a strange digital voice. And you aren’t buying individual books for $1 each. The book selection on Farfaria is huge and always growing.
